What should I wear?
Dress codes for each event are listed on the Itinerary page for easy reference. Our ceremony will be indoors, while the welcome party and reception will be a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces to take advantage of the beautiful Southern California weather. For the wedding day, we recommend floor-length gowns for ladies, and for men, a tuxedo is preferred, though a dark suit and tie is also appropriate. We can’t wait to see everyone dressed up and ready to celebrate!
What is the weather like?
Early October in La Jolla is typically beautiful! You can expect sunny skies with daytime temperatures in the low to mid-70s and cooler evenings in the 50s. We recommend light layers for the evening so you can stay comfortable while enjoying the coastal breeze.
Are events walking distance?
Yes! Many events are located at La Valencia Hotel or within a 10-minute walk, making it easy for guests staying at the hotel to enjoy the weekend without worrying about transportation.
Is parking available?
Yes! Valet parking is available at La Valencia Hotel. If you are not staying at the hotel, we encourage using Uber or Lyft
Are kids invited?
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration.
When should I RSVP by?
Kindly reply by July 3rd, 2026.
Formal invitations will be mailed in May. We know travel plans take time, if you already have a sense of whether you’ll be able to attend, we’d so appreciate an early response!
