Many people who know us have heard the story, how a little joke between our parents somehow turned into the love of a lifetime. It all started with playful theories and endless banter about the two of us dating. Our parents, in their infinite wisdom (and maybe a bit of matchmaking magic), joked for years about setting us up. But despite all the nudges and hints, life had other plans. We kept missing each other. It seemed like fate was taking its sweet time.

Then one day, Robbie decided to stop waiting and sent Sam an Instagram DM, just a little spark, but enough to light the flame. From the moment we had our first conversation, we clicked in a way that was undeniable. We became inseparable. We moved in together and built a life filled with love and laughter. We even got a dog, Sweetie, our precious little dude who adds so much love and chaos to our home.

A year later, Robbie was planning the most beautiful surprise proposal just in time for Christmas. But first, in the most Robbie way possible, he secretly asked Sam's dad for permission during a round of mini golf. Immediately after, Sam shot a hole-in-one and that’s when they both knew. It was like a sign, God was giving us a little nod of approval.

Robbie proposed on December 20, 2024, at Terranea. And the very next morning, bright and early at 5 AM, Sam was already planning our wedding. What started as a joke between our parents became a reality. Now here we are, promising to love each other forever. And that is the story of what we like to call, "Our Arranged Marriage."
