QUESTIONS?

What is the wedding dress code?

Black Tie Encouraged

Beano's Cabin requires footwear to be on at all times. Please bring your best dancing shoes!

How do I get to and from the ceremony?

All guests are required to take a shuttle to and from Beano’s Cabin. If you are lodging in Beaver Creek, you will take the designated Beano’s Cabin shuttle directly to and from the ceremony. If you are lodging in Vail, a separate shuttle will be provided. When completing your RSVP, please indicate whether you will need pick-up and drop-off in Beaver Creek or Vail. Final pick-up locations and times will be shared here as the date approaches. If your preferred shuttle pick-up location changes following RSVP submission, please text Karen at (303) 905-1993.

Guests who prefer to drive to the Beano’s Cabin shuttle departure location, we recommend parking at the Ford Hall Parking Garage. Please note that this is a paid parking facility. Complimentary parking is also available in the Elk and Bear lots after 1 PM, with free village shuttles providing service to the Beano’s Cabin pick-up location. Overnight parking is not permitted and rideshares can be difficult to find in the area, so please plan accordingly.

There will one bus running throughout the reception to Vail and Beaver Creek for departures.

Where should I stay?

Our wedding events will take place in both Beaver Creek and Vail over the weekend. The two are only about a 15-minute drive apart, so staying in either location works well.

For guests looking for a livelier weekend, we recommend staying in the Vail area. We also suggest that guests without a car, or those who would prefer not to drive, stay in Vail. Rideshares such as Uber are limited, and the only event in Beaver Creek will be the wedding itself, for which shuttle transportation will be provided.

If of interest, we have secured up to 20% off nightly rates at The Arrabelle, The Game Creek Chalet, The Lion Landmark, The Lodge at Vail, The Ritz Residence, and The Riva Ridge in Vail as well as The Pines Lodge and The Osprey in Beaver Creek. To inquire about pricing or reserve a room, please call the Vail reservations line at (855) 953-0197. Be sure to reference our group code 'SVLPLA26' and group name 'Brook/Plachy Wedding Lodging Space A' when booking.

Are kids invited?

Kids are welcome at the Welcome Party on Friday evening. However, due to space limitations at the wedding venue, we are unable to accommodate kids at the wedding on Saturday. We truly appreciate your understanding and hope you’ll still be able to celebrate with us on our special day.

Can I bring a date?

If your invite includes 'and Guest', you are welcome to bring a date!

What if it rains?

This is happening rain or shine! Colorado weather can be unpredictable, so we encourage guests to monitor weather conditions and bring necessary layers. If it is raining at the time of the ceremony, a short delay may occur. All guests will be able to wait inside while the storm passes.
