SURF HOTEL + CHATEAU
Where luxury & adventure cross paths
Surf Hotel + Chateau
1012 Front Loop
Buena Vista, CO 81211
The Surf Hotel is a riverfront retreat in the adventure town of Buena Vista. Inspired by the understated elegance of European design and the independent spirit of Colorado, the hotel provides a curated, yet relaxed hospitality experience.
- Buena Vista is located at 8,000 feet
- The town closes down early, if you are snack kings like us, we highly recommend having some items in your room. There is a dominos pizza open later for emergency situations.
- The ceremony & reception will all take place on-site at the Surf Hotel & Chateau.
- The weather in Colorado is typically mild in Mid-November, with sunny days, chilly nights and sometimes snow!
- Check the weather before packing as the temperature can quickly change in the mountains.
- We recommend bringing a warm coat for all evening events, temperatures drop quickly at night!
- We chose the Surf Hotel & Chateau largely for it's "all-inclusive" offerings: We will eat, sleep and get married all in one location!

Camielle Copland
Camielle and I have been best friends since we were 8 years old. Our dad's were both firefighters. We grew up together, wondering about the cosmos and getting into tons of trouble.

Becca Scott-Kerns
Becca and I met in high school, I was instantly drawn to her infectious and playful spirit. We became women together and I am forever grateful to have such an incredible human in my orbit.

Megan Mulvihill
Megan and I met on the see-saws of our school playground, singing "my boyfriends back" on the daily. Megan is the most selfless human I know and has been a grounding presence throughout all of my chapters.
Bridesmaid
Charlynn Portell
My oldest seester, I grew up idolizing everything about Charlynn. She has a giggle that lights up the room and I have been lucky to feel her love throughout all of the hard, and the happy, milestones of my life.

Kieran O'Connor
Kieran is my brother, the funniest person and best golfer I have ever met. He has a way to brighten up every room no matter the occasion. It's an honor to call him my best man.

In Loving Memory
Raymond Wynn 1958-2021
I never imagined this day without you. I am forever grateful to call you my dad. While there will be a massive hole in the space you were supposed to occupy, we will fill it with your energy every second of the day. I warmly invite everybody to honor the spirit of my Dad on our wedding day.
Danny Wynn, brother of the bride, will walk Julie down the aisle in honor of their father, Ray Wynn
Mother of the Bride
Jean Wynn
Strong as a mother.
The first word that comes to mind when I think about my mama, is always strength. She armed me with tools to never falter in a career surrounded by men, and to claim my place at the table. I only want to call her when I'm losing my footing or when I am ready to cross something off my list. I am my mother's daughter, and I could not be more humbled that she is mine.
Mother of the Groom
Odette O'Connor
A light in every room.
My mom has a spirit that truly lights up every room she walks into. I have always admired how she makes sure to not take life too seriously, even when it was the hardest for her. She is the most selfless person I know, her kids are always first, and I am forever grateful to have the honor to call her my mom.
