Do I need a passport?

Yes! Please ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months past your return date.

Can I bring a guest?

If your formal invitation says “and guest,” then yes! If not, we’d love to celebrate with just you.

What is the dress code for each event?

Black tie optional for the wedding. Relaxed and beachy for other events. All events will take place outdoors.

Will transportation to the the wedding venue be provided?

Complimentary shuttle service will be provided to and from Hotel El Ganzo and Acre Resort for our guests.
Shuttles will depart El Ganzo at 3:50 PM and return at the end of the evening.

Please plan to be in the hotel lobby no later than 3:40pm to board the shuttles. At the end of the night, we will provide a return shuttle to Hotel El Ganzo.
No worries if you aren’t a guest of Hotel El Ganzo, you are welcome to take the provided shuttles!
A quick heads-up: the road leading in is rough and unpaved, so an Uber SUV or high-clearance vehicle is recommended if you aren’t taking the provided shuttles.

For Saturday's Beach Party, how do I access the Beach Club at Hotel El Ganzo?

The front desk at Hotel El Ganzo will provide instructions for accessing the jetty that will take you across the water to the beach club (quick 2 minute ride across the water). For guests not staying at Hotel El Ganzo, just let the front desk know you are there for Monica & Sam Colonna’s wedding and they’ll direct you to the jetty boat.

What airport should I fly into?

Please book your flights into Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) — it’s the closest airport to our wedding events and the San José del Cabo area. If you plan to fly on Alaska Airlines here is a small discount code: ECMO414.

How do I get from the airport to my hotel?

Our wedding planner highly recommends One By One as they are reliable and offer the best pricing. Please use the booking link below to schedule. Once you are in town Ubers are readily available. Uber is not allowed to pick up/drop off at the SJD airport.

What part of Cabo will the events take place in?

All of our wedding events will take place in the San José del Cabo area, which is about 18 miles (30 minutes) from the Los Cabos International Airport (SJD).

Friday's wedding ceremony and reception will be held at Acre Resort, in San José del Cabo.

Saturday’s beach party will take place at El Ganzo Beach Club, also in San José del Cabo.

Please note: If you choose to stay in downtown Cabo San Lucas, it’s about a 45–55 minute drive to the events. We recommend staying closer to San José del Cabo if you'd prefer shorter commutes and shuttle access.

Do I have to stay at the Hotel El Gonzo?

Not at all! We’ve secured a room block with discounted rates at Hotel El Gonzo, which is where we’ll be staying — and we’d love to have you there if it works for you. That said, you’re absolutely welcome to stay wherever you’re most comfortable. Just keep in mind that we’ll be providing roundtrip transportation to and from Hotel El Ganzo for the wedding day.

We will be staying at Hotel El Ganzo starting Wednesday, April 8th through Sunday, April 12th.
