Our Love Story

How we met

Our story began on the night of September 26th, 2021.

What seemed like a simple coincidence brought us together through mutual friends at a tiny bar in Hamburg. We happened to be sitting at the same table, and somewhere between conversation and laughter, everything began.

Just a few days later, we went on our first date.

With time, we came to understand that this moment was not just chance. That night, God smiled, knowing he had already set a path for us. Long before we could see it.

Exactly five years later, on that very same day, we will say “I do” and begin our life together.

Our journey together

Since then, so much has changed—and even more has grown. We’ve been lucky to go through life side by side, supporting each other at every step, growing and evolving together, never having to do it alone.

We studied Medicine together, spent years working in the same hospital, and shared some of the most meaningful chapters of our lives along the way. Being able to experience all of this together has been one of the greatest privileges and joys of our lives.

More than anything, we’ve learned that our purpose is to build a life that makes each other better. We choose to support one another, balancing and strengthening each other along the way. From the very beginning, it has always felt like we were meant to walk this path together—growing, side by side, through every stage of life, like two pieces of a puzzle.

Flying from Germany

For all of our amazing guests travelling from Germany, we recommend flying to:

Alicante–Elche Miguel Hernández Airport (ALC)

Approximately 75 km from Murcia
Around 45–60 minutes by car
Direct flights from many German cities

From Alicante to Murcia by bus

There are direct buses from Alicante Airport to Murcia city center, operated by ALSA (every hour during the day). The journey takes approximately 50–60 minutes.

Tickets can be purchased directly at the bus stop in front of the airport or booked online via the Omio app.

Other options to get from Alicante to Murcia

- Rental Car: The most flexible option, especially if you’re staying a few days to enjoy Spain!

- Taxi / Private Transfer: Taxis are available outside the arrivals area, and private transfers can be arranged in advance. Travel time is approximately 45–60 minutes. Please note that although this might be the most comfortable option, it may be on the more expensive side compared to the bus.

- Airport pick up: We may be able to pick up some guests depending on arrival times. Please send us your flight details early, and we’ll do our best to coordinate. We are so grateful you’re making the journey to celebrate with us, and we hope to make your arrival and stay as smooth and wonderful as possible.

General Information

To make things easier for everyone traveling to celebrate with us, we’ve put together a small selection of recommended hotels in the city of Murcia. These hotels are the most convenient options for getting to the ceremony and the restaurant, and are especially practical for guests who are coming just for the wedding weekend.

Some of them have kindly provided special discount codes for our wedding guests, which can be used when booking directly through their websites. You’ll find the booking instructions for each hotel below. Before confirming your reservation, we also suggest comparing rates across different platforms (such as Booking.com or others), as prices may vary depending on the provider and the timing of your booking.

If you’re planning to extend your stay and explore the region, and especially if you plan on renting a car, you might also consider staying by the sea. The city of Murcia itself is inland and does not have a coastline, but the Mediterranean is only about 45 minutes away by car. In that case, we would especially recommend looking at accommodation in La Manga or Cabo de Palos, two beautiful seaside areas nearby.

Of course, you are completely free to stay wherever you prefer — these are simply options that may be convenient for the wedding weekend.

Transportation

General Information

To make travel as easy and comfortable as possible on the wedding day, bus transportation will be provided for guests from several points in Murcia city. This service will connect selected hotels and central meeting locations with both the ceremony and the reception venues.

Buses will depart from Murcia in advance to ensure all guests arrive comfortably before the ceremony begins.

After the ceremony, transportation will be provided to the reception venue, Restaurante Casón de la Vega


Return to Murcia
Two return buses will be available in the evening:
- First departure: 10:00 PM
- Second departure: 12:00 AM (midnight, end of celebration)
