Our Story
It all began with a swipe right on Bumble and a low-key first date at Maya’s condo of wine and a movie night. From the very beginning, Maya was convinced that Rob was “the one” (her constant texts to him at work made that pretty clear). Rob, meanwhile, wasn’t quite sure what to make of this spirited beauty who kept trying to distract him during office hours.
But it didn’t take long for their spark to grow into a whirlwind romance. That first fun evening quickly turned into months—and then years—of adventures together: traveling to new places, discovering favorite restaurants, going to shows and sporting events and strolling hand-in-hand through Pittsburgh with Celina by their side.
Maya suspected a proposal might be coming on more than one of their trips…but it finally happened on the 4th of July during a magical trip to Napa Valley. After days filled with wine tastings, incredible food, and a sunrise hot-air balloon ride, Rob proposed on a private balcony overlooking Napa’s famed Vineyard’s before a special dinner at The French Laundry. Maya was so surprised and excited that she grabbed the ring box out of Rob's hands before he could even kneel down. It didn’t take long for her to find her words—with a resounding “Yes!”
From that moment forward, it’s been nothing but laughter, love, and family. Rob not only fell for Maya but also for her daughter, Celina, and together the three became inseparable. Today, they’re a happy family who can’t imagine life before one another—and who still laugh about how it all began with a simple swipe.

A complimentary Trolley will be provided round trip from The Inn & Club at Harbour Town for all guests to Friday and Saturday events. All wedding day events on Sunday are walkable for guests staying in Harbour Town. Free parking will also be available at all of the venues.

The Liberty Oak
Our ceremony will take place outdoors beneath Harbour Town’s legendary Liberty Oak Tree in the shadows of the iconic Lighthouse. The celebration will begin promptly at 5:00 PM.
We kindly ask that all guests be seated by 4:30 PM to ensure a smooth and seamless start to the evening.
COCKTAIL HOUR
18th Fairway Harbour Town Golf Links
Following the ceremony, please join us for cocktail hour on the 18th fairway of the famed Harbour Town Golf Links. Guests can enjoy a short, scenic walk along the Harbour to the lawn where the celebration will take place. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes, as the path leads onto the grass.
WEDDING RECEPTION
Champions Ballroom at the Harbour Town Clubhouse
Following the cocktail hour, guests will take one last stroll to our final venue — the Champions Ballroom at the Harbour Town Clubhouse — where we will celebrate with an evening of dinner, drinks, and dancing.

Hilton Head Island Airport (HHH) is a small local airport with limited flights located mid-island approximately 15 minutes from Sea Pines Resort, while Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport is the main regional airport located nearby Savannah, Georgia, about 45-50 minutes to Sea Pines by car. Car Rentals, Ride Share or Car Service is available to be reserved at both airports.

Can I bring a plus one?
Our wedding day is a very special and intimate celebration, and we’ve chosen to share it with our closest family and friends.
To keep the day personal, we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. If you’ve been given a plus one, it will be noted there. Otherwise, we kindly ask for your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!
Are children invited?
We love your little ones! However, due to limited space, we’re only able to accommodate the children in our wedding party at the celebration. If you’d like to bring your kids to Hilton Head, you’re welcome to arrange childcare through one of the trusted providers listed below.
Let us know if you do bring your family on the trip. There are some informal get togethers outside of scheduled events that your children would be welcome to attend.
Are all guests invited to every wedding event?
Since this is a destination celebration, we’re turning the weekend into one big party! All invited guests are invited to every scheduled wedding event.
Please note: the cocktail cruise will be for guests 21 and over only. For reservation and planning purposes, we kindly ask that you let us know if you’re unable to attend any portion of the weekend’s events.
Will transportation be provided?
Complimentary transportation will be provided for all wedding guests between The Inn & Club at Harbour Town and the Friday and Saturday evening events via the Sea Pines Trolley.

What is the dress code?
Friday – "White Out" Welcome Party
We invite you to join us for an evening in white. Kindly wear white attire as we kick off the weekend’s celebrations together.
Saturday – Beachfront Welcome Dinner
Saturday evening’s dinner will be held at a beautiful beachfront restaurant. We encourage “beach formal” attire — elegant yet comfortable, perfect for an oceanfront setting.
Sunday – Wedding Celebration
For guests who wish to dress in keeping with our wedding colors, we invite you to join us in a color palette of soft blues and neutral tones — perfect for the coastal, elegant feel of Hilton Head.
Typical attire would be sundresses or cocktail dresses for women, and suits, blazers, or dress slacks for men. We ask that ladies please refrain from wearing all white, as this color is reserved for the bride.
Please note that there will be some brief walking throughout the evening, which will include grass surfaces. We recommend bringing footwear that is both stylish and comfortable.

What should I expect for the weather during the weekend?
For Columbus Day weekend in Hilton Head Island, you can expect pleasant fall conditions with daily highs generally in the mid to high 70°s F.
Keep in mind that coastal evenings can be breezy, so we recommend bringing a light layer — a wrap, shawl, pull over or light jacket will be perfect.
