What is the dress code?
WELCOME DRINKS (FRIDAY):
Cocktail Attire (Women: Elegant, chic, and party-ready without being too formal - Men: Think “dressed up, but not tuxedo-level.")
The Fitzroy is an indoor bar. There is a little outdoor area that we will use depending on the weather.

WEDDING DAY (SATURDAY):
Formal Attire (Women: Long or floor-length dresses - Men: suit & tie)
The weather is somewhat unpredictable this time of year. We suggest ladies bring a jacket - we will have a bunch of pashmina/shawls as party favors if you don't want to carry your jacket around :)
The wedding will be all outdoors, with the reception being under a heated tent.
The ceremony & cocktail hour is in the grass, and the tent is turf (so choose shoes accordingly - block heels recommended)
Can I bring a guest?
Despite our desire to include everyone to be a part of our big day, our venue doesn’t offer the space to accommodate additional guests.
If your invitation does not include (& Guest Name) we kindly ask that you join us solo and enjoy the weekend with the wonderful group of people celebrating with us. Thank you so much for understanding!

You are more than welcome to find alternative hotel options nearby, or look on Airbnb, VRBO, or Stay Charlottesville. We have also listed a few hotels within 10 minutes of downtown.
Transportation options?
On Saturday, we will be providing transportation (buses) to and from the venue. See details below:

The venue is about a 25 minute drive from downtown. There is plenty of parking at the venue for those who would rather drive or uber.

Airport suggestions?
Charlottesville–Albemarle Airport is about a 25 min drive from downtown. (Delta, American, and United flights only)
Richmond International Airport is about 1 hour and 15 min away from downtown.
*Charlottesville is about a 3 hour drive from the Annapolis area for our local friends!
Are children invited?
This will be an adults-only event. Thank you for understanding!
Is there an after-party?
The after party will be at a local UVA college bar (we rented out the top floor).
Buses will drop off guests from the wedding. 10pm - 12am
