Travel Options
Flight Direct to Nice (NCE)
Depending on the state (or country) you are traveling from, costs may vary, however flight costs should range between $850 - $1300. Keep in mind, this is peak season for the French Riviera which is reflected in the price of the flights. The following airports have direct flights to Nice in the summer:
-Atlanta (ATL)
-New York (JFK)
-New Jersey (EWR)
-Philadelphia (PHL)
-Washington DC (IAD)
For those traveling from any area not included in this list, one stop options are available to you (we checked)!
Flight to Paris (CDG) with Train to Nice
Depending on your travel plans, you may choose to fly directly into Paris. From there, you can either take the train to Nice (between 5 and 6 hours) or you may choose to take a short flight from Orly (ORY) to Nice (NCE) which would take just under 1.5 hours. Currently, flights directly to Nice appear to be either less expensive or marginally more expensive than flying to Paris and the more efficient option - the cost to take a train or flight from Paris will end up being the most expensive route. However, we recognize many of you may want to visit Paris as well and you have options to choose from for your ultimate arrival in Nice!
We advise you to book travel early as our wedding is during peak season and flight prices are not likely to decrease -between 2 to 6 months prior to the wedding is ideal timing, but we would suggest looking frequently. Some of you may be travel experts and can get creative - if you are one of these people and find a route that is cost effective, please share with other guests traveling from your same area! Keep in mind, sometimes flying from a smaller airport near you with a connection is cheaper, so don't rule this out before you do your research! Another way to find cost savings is to look at the Flexible Date Calendar for your respective airlines to see if adjusting your trip up or back by a few days makes a difference, if your schedules allow.
