Floor-length gowns or formal cocktail dresses; tuxedos are encouraged. We love bold colors, fun fabrics, and standout accessories—our only ask is to keep it festive and elevated.

Ladies, as you select your party shoes please note the ceremony will take place on grass, while the reception is indoors.

Light bites and drinks to follow the ceremony. Then, we'll head into the pavilion for dinner and dancing!

We've reserved Roche Harbor Resort for all of our guests, and we'd love for you to stay with us!

Please reserve your room as soon as you know you are able to attend. Online booking instruction found below, but Roche Harbor Resort team is also very helpful over the phone! If you would like to stay an extra night on the island, just let their team know.

We recommend flying into SEA-TAC. To guarantee smooth sailing, make sure to factor in the ferry schedule when booking both your arrive and departure times.

Fly in on Wednesday evening or Thursday morning to arrive in Roche Harbor for Thursday festivities and catch the ferry back to the mainland on Saturday or Sunday!

SEATAC airport is about a 1.5 hour drive from the Anacortes Ferry Terminal. Please make sure to factor that travel time into both your arrival and departure times.

Your island getaway begins with a ferry from Anacortes to Friday Harbor.

We recommend reserving your ferry as soon as possible, as space does fill up quickly, especially around weekends. Be sure to select the Anacortes to Friday Harbor route!

The drive from SEA-TAC airport is about a 1.5 hour to the Anacortes Ferry Terminal. Please make sure to factor that travel time into your ferry reservation.

We recommend having a car while on the island. Friday Harbor is about a 20 min drive from our venue at Roche Harbor Resort.

Fun Things to do in Roche Harbor

Garland Ranch Regional Park

How on earth do I get to Roche Harbor Resort?

There are a few options for getting to the island, and all of them come with a bit of adventure!

For those arriving from out of town, fly into SEATAC. From there, everyone will make the drive up to Anacortes Ferry Terminal (about 1.5 hour drive from SEATAC, we recommend renting a car!) Take the Anacortes ferry to Friday Harbor. From Friday Harbor, it is about a 20 min drive to our venue Roche Harbor Resort. Trust us, your travel time will be worth it!

We highly recommend staying on the island for the weekend!

How long is the ferry ride?

The ferry ride is approximately an hour from Anacortes.

Should I book ferry tickets in advance?

Yes, ferry reservations are strongly recommended as space is limited and popular times tend to fill quickly. Please visit the Travel page for links and guidance on booking.

How do I get around once I arrive?

We highly recommend renting a car! Not only will it come in handy on your drive up to ferry, but you'll be able to explore the island once you get there!

Please note, there are no ubers on the island. There is a shuttle from Friday Harbor to Roche Harbor.

Will there be transportation to the wedding ceremony?

We have planned all of our wedding events to take place at our venue! If you stay at Roche Harbor Resort, everything will be right at your doorstep.

Where should I stay on the island?

We’ve reserved the Roche Harbor Resort for our guests, and we would love for you to stay there with us!
All booking details are available on the Travel page. Staying at Roche will make it easy to attend all the wedding events and enjoy time together.

When should I arrive and depart?

We recommend arriving to Roche Harbor by Thursday afternoon to settle in and join us for the Welcome Party that evening. The wedding is on Friday, so a Thursday–Saturday or Sunday stay is ideal. Feel free to make a weekend out of it and explore the island! Check the ferry schedule on the Travel page when planning your travel times!

Can I bring a plus one?

We truly wish we could celebrate with everyone, but due to limited space, we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on the invitation. Thank you for understanding.

Can I bring my children?

We love your little ones, but this will be an adults-only celebration (except for you, little cousins!). We hope it will feel like a special weekend getaway for all of our guests.
