Flights
There are three airport options for guests traveling to Carmel
MONTEREY REGIONAL AIRPORT
Monterey is the closest airport to Stonepine Estate and is about a 20-minute drive to Carmel. This would be our recommended airport to fly into for the easiest arrival.
SAN JOSE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
San Jose is about a 1-hour drive to Carmel without traffic. It can be a convenient option for guests who are able to find direct flights, while still keeping the drive shorter than San Francisco.
SAN FRANCISCO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
San Francisco is about a 2-hour drive to Carmel without traffic. It is a great option for direct flights, but please keep in mind that the drive can take longer during rush hour or peak travel times.

Hotels
Guests can stay in either Carmel Valley, where Stonepine Estate is located and you’ll find warmer weather and wineries, or Carmel-by-the-Sea, about 25 minutes away from the venue and has more restaurants, shops, and beach access.
Shuttle transportation will be provided from both locations.
CARMEL VALLEY LODGE
Located in the Carmel valley on a 3-acre plot, this woodsy hotel is 5 minutes from the wedding venue. We have a room block at this hotel.
Located in Carmel-by-the-Sea, this hotel is in the heart of town and is easily walkable to the beach, shops, etc. La Playa does not offer room blocks, but we will have shuttles from here.

Transport
TO THE WEDDING
We will be providing shuttles for all wedding events. They will pick guests up at the hotels listed above.
FROM THE AIRPORT
If you fly into Monterey Regional Airport, you can get an Uber or Lyft into Carmel. You can also Uber from San Jose. If you go to San Francisco, we recommend renting a car to get to Carmel.

Will there be transportation provided for the wedding events?
Yes! We will be providing transportation for all events throughout the wedding weekend, including the Welcome Party, Wedding Ceremony, Reception, and After Party. Shuttles will pick up from the hotels listed, and will run on a continuous loop to help guests get to and from each event. A finalized shuttle schedule will be shared closer to the wedding weekend.
Can I take an Uber or Lyft to the wedding?
Ride share options are very limited in Carmel Valley, and the venue has requested that guests do not take Uber or Lyft directly to the property. The venue has also requested that guests do not drive to the venue. We will be providing shuttles to and for all wedding events!
What is the wedding dress code?
The wedding dress code is Garden Formal. We recommend long dresses for women and suits for men. We would love for guests to embrace color, as the evening will have a colorful garden party feel!
Anything else I should bring or wear?
California can be warm during the day but cool in the evening, especially once the sun goes down. Since the wedding events will be outdoors, we recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap so you’re comfortable throughout the night.
Will kids be invited?
Our wedding will be adults-only. Our venue does not allow children onsite, so we appreciate your understanding.
Can I bring a plus one?
Due to venue capacity, we are only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. If a plus one has been included, their name will appear on your invitation.
Will the Welcome Party have dinner?
Yes, we will have a pizza oven at the Welcome Party, along with appetizers, dessert, & drinks!
Is there an After Party?
Yes! The After Party will take place onsite following the reception. Shuttles will be available to take guests either to the after party or back home to their hotels.
