Do I Have a Plus-One? Are Kids Welcome?
Please refer to your invitation
Space is tight. We chose a cozy venue with a strict capacity limit. Your invitation envelope specifies exactly how many seats we have set aside for you — if it says "and Guest," bring them.
Aside from our immediate family, the ceremony and reception will be adults-only. We love your kids, truly, but we also want you to have a night off — call the babysitter.
How Should I Get to Santa Ynez Valley from the Airport?
If you'll be flying in, we highly recommend renting a car for the weekend
RENTAL CARS
Many of you are flying in from out of town (and we love you dearly for it).
Public transportation is limited in LAX and non-existent near Santa Barbara Airport. We know it's a trek so we recommend reserving a rental car ahead of time. Feel free to carpool because once you've made it to Santa Ynez, event transportation will be taken care of.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Whether you're flying in from the East Coast or driving down from Northern California, book your lodging as close to the venue as possible (check out the travel page to book using special group rates at The Landsby or The Vinland).
Friday afternoon coastal traffic is no joke, so leave early and give yourself plenty of time and enjoy the views!

Welcome Party
Saturday, October 10 · Fall Cocktail Attire
A nod to our engagement in Provence, where we found “the spot” after a day of vineyard tastings.
Think Fall Colors: Olive Green, Deep Forest, Dark Plum, Terracotta, Burgundy. Cocktail Dress = Knee-Length Dresses and Light or Dark-Colored Suits.
Dresses & separates
A cocktail or midi dress, dressy jumpsuit, or silk blouse with tailored trousers.
Suits & jackets
A suit or blazer with dress trousers, a collared shirt, and dress shoes. Ties are optional.
Bring
A wrap or jacket for the evening.

Sunday, October 11 · Creative Black Tie
Sunstone’s French-inspired villa brings a little of Provence to California as we gather to say “I do.”
Gowns & dresses
Floor-length gowns or dressy tea-length dresses (falling around mid-calf) are encouraged. Think silk, satin, velvet, or structured crepe.
Tuxedos & suits
A tuxedo or dark suit with a dress shirt, tie or bow tie, and dress shoes.
Make it yours
“Creative” means room for a bold color, interesting neckline, velvet jacket, or statement jewelry. Classic looks are equally welcome.
Plan for outdoors
Bring a wrap or light jacket. Choose block heels, wedges, or dressy flats over stilettos for comfortable walking and dining on the patio.
Our bridal party and groomsmen will wear long black gowns and black tuxedos.
For Both Evenings
Choose solid colors rather than florals. Black, navy, chocolate brown, deep green, and scarlet are great starting points.
There’s no required palette; wear something you feel wonderful in.
