Ceremony will start promptly at 1:30, please make sure to arrive no later than 1:15

To take place immediately following ceremony outside Church in the Plaza/Garden
Guests are encouraged to stay and participate in some group photos, and take the opportunity to take some of your own photos

Feel free to hang out in the square and enjoy a drink with some mariachi music
Unfortunately our permits were denied to parade through the city. We will have a mariachi celebration outside of the church following the ceremony. We suggest taking a private taxi or walking to Live Aqua for the Reception.
RECEPTION

Cocktails starting at 4pm, dinner and dancing to follow

TRAVEL & ACCOMODATIONS
BEST AIRPORTS TO FLY IN TO
The closest airports to San Miguel de Allende are Leon (BJX) and Queretaro (QRO), both are about 1.5hr drive to the city center. Mexico City (MEX) is also an option but with a 4hr drive to SMA.
GETTING AROUND THE CITY
Once you arrive in San Miguel de Allende, walking is typically the best way to get around, although it is suggested that you wear comfortable shoes on the cobblestone streets. If you would rather not walk, taxi's are also very affordable and are always around the city center easy to hail. Both are very safe options!
ACCOMODATIONS
We want your stay to be as comfortable as possible, so we’ve reserved a hotel block at our reception venue for a discounted rate. There are hundreds of different accommodations in SMA ranging from hostels, to air bnb's, and five star hotels. We recommend finding lodging that best suits your budget within the city center so you can easily walk or cab to shops, restaurants, the church, and reception.
AIRPORT TRANSPORT
We’ve partnered with a local transportation service to offer discounted rides for our wedding guests. Bajiogo is a very reputable airport transport service and offers comfortable shuttles to/from Leon, Queretaro and Mexico City airports directly to your hotel in San Miguel de Allende.
CURRENCY
The national currency is the Mexican Peso. Most establishments accept pesos or credit card, although some smaller businesses may only accept cash.

WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE IN JANUARY?
Temperatures average from 13-22°C during the day and can drop to as low as 7°C overnight.
Please bring jackets and warmer clothes for evening activities!
ARE CHILDREN INVITED?
We warmly welcome children to join us for the ceremony. We kindly request that the reception be an adults-only celebration.
For your convenience, the hotel offers professional nanny services and a supervised kids’ club during the wedding festivities. Please contact the front desk or concierge for availability and booking.
CAN I TAKE PHOTOS DURING THE CEREMONY?
To preserve the sanctity of our church ceremony, we respectfully ask that no photos or videos be taken.
WILL THERE BE PARKING AVAILABLE?
Valet is available through the hotel for an added fee of $200 MXN per car per day (approx $15 CAD).
WILL THERE BE VEGETARIAN OPTIONS?
Yes! We will have a variety of options to meet everyone's dietary needs.
