Please join us as we embark on a journey of love...

Love is not just a moment—it’s a journey, a partnership, and a promise. As we step into this next chapter together, we’re reminded of how grateful we are to share this moment with the people who have shaped us. Your presence in our lives reminds us that love is not just between two people—it radiates outward into a whole community of support, laughter, and memories.

...In the heart of the Mendocino Coast

Where the forest meets the sea, and time slows to the rhythm of the tides, we’ve chosen the Mendocino Coast—a place as wild and beautiful as love itself.

Mendocino has long been a haven for poets, artists, and dreamers. The Pomo people, who first called this land home, believed in the spiritual connection between the ocean, the redwoods, and the heart. It's said the wind that moves through the trees carries old stories—of devotion, longing, and reunion.

Local legend tells of lovers who would climb to the cliffs overlooking the Pacific, where the fog rolls in like a veil and the waves crash like a heartbeat. Some say the sea here remembers the names of those who’ve stood in love along its shores.

It’s here, in this timeless corner of the world, that we’ll say our vows.
And we’d be honored for you to be part of it.

The Venue

The Terroir

From its secluded perch along the Mendocino coastline, the Harbor House Inn emerges as a luxurious exclamation point that punctuates the charming but otherwise unassuming prose of the small town of Elk.

The Food

The restaurant offers an intimate oceanview dining room that sits above the Pacific coastline. Seasonality and weather shape the menu as it relies primarily on what is produced in the restaurant's immediate surroundings.

The North Coast terrain promotes flavors unique to the restaurant's location, supported by a product-driven style of cooking. The restaurant focuses on natural sources of heat through steam and fire to highlight the true taste in the ingredients. By minimizing imports, cultivating as much food from their own land and tidepools as possible, Harbor House Inn offers a hyper-local experience that is constantly evolving.

The Wine

The restaurant's wine selection currently features 1,700 individual selections with an inventory of 7,000 bottles, with a particular focus on French and California wines.

The wine program spotlights small producers, most of whom farm organically and/or have very high quality practices in the vineyard and the cellar. They have chosen to highlight wines that present the perception of minerality, salinity and elegance, or wines that pair with these flavors.

Beyond wine, the beverage program also features sake, cider, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.

The Rooms

The Harbor House Inn has 11 rooms, 6 traditional rooms in the main house and 5 standalone cottages for those looking for added privacy. Guests can select between garden view or ocean view rooms or cottages that feature a private patio. Each nightly stay includes a lavish breakfast, access to the private cove, plush down feather bedding, and cozy accommodations.

Please note that cell phone reception is highly limited on the Coast, and on the property. We encourage you to use this time to disconnect, though wi-fi is available as needed.

STAY IN ST HELENA
March 8-10

We will be staying at the Rancho Caymus Inn March 8-10. There is no room block, so do not feel pressure to stay here if you find other accommodations!

STAY AT HARBOR HOUSE INN
March 10-12

Please note: at this time, all rooms at Harbor House Inn are fully booked.

Things to Note:

Will it rain?

Rain is a possibility, so please bring water-resistant, comfortable footwear! Umbrellas and rain ponchos will be provided.

Do I need a jacket?

Yes! It will be about 55 degrees near Harbor House Inn, so pack layers so that you're not cold! A jacket or bolero will be perfect. It will be a bit warmer in Napa, around 60-65 during the day.

How do I get to Napa?

We would recommend renting a car from the airport, since you will need one to drive up to Harbor House!

Where should I stay in Napa?

The wine tastings will be in St Helena, so we would recommend booking a hotel in that area, although all of Napa Valley has wonderful accommodations!

Do I need a rental car?

Buses have difficulty navigating the roads up the coast through the redwoods, so we recommend every guest use a rental car or carpool with another guest. Please see the Travel section for where you can book your rental car.

Can I stay at Harbor House Inn?

Absolutely! We would love for as many of our guests as possible to stay with us at the Harbor House Inn; however, accommodations are limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, so please book as soon as possible! A price and room list will be circulated at a later date for booking.

Is this a kid-friendly affair?

While we love kids, this is a 21+ event.

What if I can't make it?

We understand that a destination wedding is a huge investment for our guests, and we absolutely understand that not everyone will be able to make it work. For those unable to join us, we will be hosting a get-together to celebrate in NYC at a later date.

Should I bring a gift?

Should you desire to gift anything, we would appreciate a contribution to our dream couch fund so we can buy our dream sectional sofa! You can donate on Venmo, @DreamCouchFund. However, gifts of any kind are not required or expected!

What is the dress code?

Formal

What is 'Formal' attire?

Formal Attire

Formal wedding attire sits between cocktail and black tie on the wedding dress code scale. It's slightly more elevated than cocktail attire and a touch less dressy than a black-tie nuptial.

Formal wedding guest dresses include both floor-grazing gowns and elegant ankle-length frocks, so pick the hemline you feel best in. That being said, you don't have to wear a dress at all. A jumpsuit is the perfect alternative to a dress and will provide ultimate comfort for a busy day of wedding festivities. We're also big fans of suits and other dressy separates.

Formal weddings are great because the dress code is fancy (it's fun to get dressed up!) but also flexible. For suiting, tuxedos aren't required, nor are matching suit pieces. You can mix and match suit separates, work a sweater into the outfit, or leave your tie at home.
