Our Story
The Meaning Behind 8/3
After what feels already feels like a lifetime of incredible memories, we've decided to take the next step in our lives by getting married on the date of our official 10 year anniversary. From teenagers going steady on August 3rd 2016, to finally walking down the aisle all grown up- it all comes full circle on August 3rd 2026 as husband + wife. We can't wait to celebrate this next season of life with those that have been there for us every step of the way - see you there.

The Vinland Hotel & Lounge is located in Solvang, about 5 mins from the venue property. A charming wine country hotel in the heart of town in a walkable location near shops, restaurants + tasting rooms.
Rooms have been set aside at this hotel for the event, let them know you'd like to book with a room block under the last name Butler. The hotel requests that rooms be booked by or before 7/3/2026.

chumash casino - located just outside of solvang, this casino is right down the road if you're in the mood to gamble

WHERE IS IT?
The ceremony + reception are at a wedding venue in the mountains just behind solvang called Highline Summit Estate. The button below will give you the location that will come up as Highline Adventures. It will give you directions to the main parking lot.
WHATS THE DAY LOOK LIKE?
There will be a welcome hour held prior to the ceremony with beer, wine, + seltzers, as well as light bites and nonalcoholic beverages. Transportation is provided from the venue parking lot to the ceremony site. Shuttles up to the site will begin at 4pm. After welcome hour, the ceremony will begin promptly at 5pm. Followed by an open-bar cocktail hour with signature cocktails, well drinks, and a selection of beer, wine, + seltzers. Dinner will then be served, with a dessert spread to finish things off, as well as music and dancing.
WHATS THE DRESS CODE?
We kindly ask that our guests wear all black semi-formal attire.
WILL THERE BE PARKING?
Yes! There is a parking lot onsite for wedding guests - the given address will take you directly to the lot. There will be shuttle transportation from the here to the ceremony site. Departures begin at 4pm and will be available through the end of the evening to bring you back to your car.
WILL THE CEREMONY BE OUTSIDE?
Yes! It will likely be warm during the day but may cool down in the evening. Fans will be provided to keep you cool, but bring a light jacket in the case that we have nighttime weather, as the venue is up in the mountains.
ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED?
We kindly ask that you leave your littles at home for our wedding.
CAN I TAKE PHOTOS DURING THE CEREMONY?
We do not mind photos + videos during the ceremony. If you do decide to take any, we just ask that you keep your phones low + discreet, as we will have a photographer taking pictures during this time.
