FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Where and when exactly is the ceremony and reception?

Our ceremony will begin at 3:00 PM at Trinity Church in downtown Newport. We kindly ask that you arrive by 2:45 PM to settle in. Following the ceremony, cocktail hour will begin at 6:00 PM at Newport Beach House, with dinner and dancing to follow!

Please feel free to use the time between to explore downtown Newport or relax before the party begins beachside!

Will transportation be provided the day of the wedding?

For your convenience, transportation to and from Trinity Church will be provided from the Atlantic Beach Hotel and Wyndham Newport Hotel. A shuttle schedule will be provided closer to the big day; please note that seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Uber and Lyft are also excellent options and are readily available throughout the area. Please keep in mind that there is no parking at the church, however there is parking available throughout downtown Newport.

Is there parking available on site?

While there is no parking at Trinity Church, public parking is available throughout downtown Newport. For those driving directly to the cocktail hour and reception, on-site parking is available at Newport Beach House.

Are children invited to the ceremony and reception?

Children are more than welcome to join us for our wedding ceremony at Trinity Church! However, our reception at Newport Beach House will be an adults-only celebration. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you there!

Is there a room block available?

Yes! We have two room blocks available for your ease: Atlantic Beach Hotel and Wyndham Newport Hotel. Room blocks are under the 'Burgwinkle/Adams' reservation and can be reserved by clicking the links below or calling the hotels directly.

Alternatively, there are a number of other hotels, AirBnB's, and VRBO's in the area if preferred!

What is the dress code?

We kindly ask our guests to dress in Elevated Coastal attire for our seaside celebration! Women are invited to wear tea-length, midi, or maxi dresses in the colors or patterns of your choice, while men are encouraged to wear suits—no tuxedos or ties required.

Weather permitting, cocktail hour will be held across the sand, grass, and deck, so please plan your footwear accordingly! We can’t wait to celebrate beachside with you.
