FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS!
If I am interested in booking a hotel room, where do you suggest?
If you need a little guidance, we've booked a few hotel blocks as recommendations. The Omni Berkshire Place is just steps from St. Patrick's Cathedral making it super convenient. They also provide valet parking. The Lexington is a short 10-12 minute walk or a 5- minute drive to the cathedral (depending on traffic). They do not have valet parking; however, there are multiple garages close to both hotels that can accommodate. We recommend looking at spothero or icon parking for discounted rates!
What is the dress code?
For the wedding day the dress code is black tie optional! We can't wait to see everyone dressed up for this special day! Think tuxes, suits, floor length gowns or formal cocktail dresses! Suites for men are acceptable; tuxes are welcome but not required!
The night before is more casual cocktail attire. Suites for men are not required; think sports coats, slacks and collared shirts. For women, cocktail dresses.
Where is the ceremony and reception?
Our ceremony will be at St. Patrick's Cathedral and the celebration will continue after at Tavern on the Green in Central Park.
What time should I arrive at the ceremony and where should I go when I get there?
We recommend arriving 15-20 minutes early so you can get settled. Please note that there will be a wedding before ours so guests will not be able to be seated until moments before the ceremony begins. We will be getting married at the Main Altar.
Will the cathedral be open to the public?
Yes, it will be open to the public however the main altar will be sectioned off just for our guests.
Will transportation be provided?
Yes! We will provide transportation from St. Patrick's Cathedral to Tavern on the Green after the ceremony so you can relax and enjoy the ride through central park!
Are children welcome?
Children are welcome to join us at St. Patrick's Cathedral. Our evening reception will be an adults-only celebration, we kindly ask that children do not attend the reception. Thank you so much for your understanding!
Is the ceremony and reception indoors?
Yes, both the ceremony and reception (including cocktail hour) will be held indoors, making it cozy and comfortable!
Will there be other wedding weekend events?
Yes! If you are able to, we'd love for you to join us for welcome drinks the night before the wedding and brunch the morning after. Details are still being finalized, but we can't wait to celebrate with you all weekend long!
Can I drive to the reception from the church?
We do not recommend driving between the ceremony and reception. Tavern on the Green is located inside Central Park, and vehicles are not permitted to drop off directly in front of the venue. Additionally, there is no guest parking available due to the venue's unique location within the park. We recommend taking the provided shuttle transportation.
Who should I contact with questions?
If you have any questions, please reach out to us directly. A formal invitation with details will be sent out closer to the wedding. We'll also keep this page updated with any new details as the big day approaches!
