Travel & Accommodations

Air Travel

If you’re flying in for the big day, we recommend Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), the closest airport to Bay Head. From there, it’s about a one-hour drive to the shore by Uber/Lyft/Car Service. New Jersey Transit will also take you straight to the Bay Head Station in about two hours.

Accommodations

We don't have a room block, but below are a handful of recommendations in Bay Head and the surrounding area. The Jersey Shore books up fast - we strongly recommend reserving your accomodations 9 months to a year in advance!

The Grenville Hotel - Bay Head, NJ
The Spring Lake Inn - Spring Lake, NJ
Point Pleasant Manor - Point Pleasant, NJ

Airbnb/VRBO are also available in Bay Head and the surrounding towns.

Transportation

Since we don't have a room block, we won't be providing shuttle service to the Yacht Club.

Rideshare (Uber & Lyft) is easily available in Bay Head and the surrounding area. If you plan on driving yourself, valet parking will be available right at the club.

The Beach House - if you want some memorabilia from the Jersey Shore, look no further - their Beach House T-Shirt is it

Jenkinsons Boardwalk - great amusement park rides, even better people watching. Be sure to check out Castaway Cove Mini Golf!

FAQ

Can I bring my children?

While we love your little ones, our wedding weekend will be an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives you a chance to relax, unwind, and enjoy a fun night by the sea!

Can I bring a plus one?

We’d love to celebrate with everyone, but due to space, we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding - we promise a great party awaits!

Is the venue indoors or outdoors?

Our ceremony and reception will both take place indoors, but cocktail hour will be held on a covered patio - so you’ll get a little fresh sea air in between! The ceremony will be at the Boathouse, followed by a short walk over to the Clubhouse for cocktails and the reception. We recommend planning footwear accordingly and bringing a light layer just in case of a coastal breeze.

What should I wear?

The dress code is formal with a coastal yacht club chic flair. Think elevated, polished, and yacht club-appropriate.

For women, this could mean a floor-length gown, a chic midi or cocktail dress in light, airy fabrics, or elegant summer colors and prints. Heels, dressy sandals, or wedges are all great options - just keep in mind the short walk from the boathouse to the clubhouse (~5 min).

For men, a suit and tie is perfect - navy or lighter tones work beautifully for a coastal setting. A classic blazer with dress pants is also a great option, paired with loafers or dress shoes.

Overall, think timeless and tailored with a touch of relaxed coastal style.

What time should I arrive?

We recommend arriving about 10-15 minutes before the ceremony start time so you have plenty of time to get settled before we say “I do.” The celebration will begin promptly at 5:00pm. Please don’t arrive more than 30 minutes early as we will be taking photos beforehand, and we’re hoping to keep that moment just between us before the festivities begin. We can’t wait to see everyone as we walk down the aisle - so please help us keep the surprise intact!

What is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by April 9th, 2027 so we can finalize all the details for the big day. We kindly ask that you respond on time - your prompt reply helps us ensure a seamless and memorable celebration for everyone.
