For additional flight options, consider flying into Denver International Airport, located approximately two hours east of Vail. From there, you can rent a car or take a mountain shuttle for a scenic drive through the Rockies.
Please keep in mind that the I-70 corridor frequently experiences construction delays and heavy traffic, particularly on Friday afternoons when travelers head into the mountains. We recommend booking an early morning flight whenever possible to allow plenty of time for travel.
