WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

Formal High Garden.

Men's Formal Attire: suit or jacket. (ties are optional)
Woman's Formal Attire: evening dresses, formal midi, or pant suits
*Please note that the ceremony & cocktail hour will be held out doors in grass. Please wear appropriate heels such as wedges or a chunk heal.

WHAT TIME SHOULD WE ARRIVE?

Our wedding ceremony will commence at 5:30 PM. Please arrive 20 minutes before the ceremony starts to allow ample time and avoid feeling rushed.

ARE CHILDREN INVITED ?

Due to our desire for a more intimate atmosphere on our wedding day, we've opted for an adults-only affair to allow everyone to relax and enjoy the celebration. We hope you understand our decision and can arrange childcare for the evening. Only our immediate family's children will be attending. Your understanding is appreciated.

WILL THE CEREMONY BE OUTSIDE?

Our ceremony will take place outdoors in the courtyard. September in Michigan can be unpredictable. If there are showers, our ceremony will be held in the pool house, where we will be seated for dinner.

WILL THERE BE PARKING AVAILABLE?

- Many of our family and friends live close to the Deems Estate and we recommend that our guests utilize a car service such as "Uber" or "Lyft" to travel to and from the wedding, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.

- For those who prefer to drive, street parking will be available. We kindly ask guests to plan their arrival 20 minutes early to allow you time to park & prevent any feelings of being rushed.

CAN I TAKE PHOTOS DURING THE CEREMONY?

While we love that you want to capture the moment, we kindly request an unplugged ceremony to allow everyone to be fully present. Our photographer will be capturing all the highlights, and we'll share the photos with you afterwards. We appreciate you creating a distraction-free environment for our ceremony.
