our story
We met in March 2025 at a speed dating event. It was a first for both of us- and were each other's first speed date. In 6 minutes, we were able to figure out we were both from the Midwest and moved to Florida, appreciating the year-round summer for plenty of beach days every year. After speed dating, we exchanged information and went on a few dates to continue to get to know one another. We both agree that our date at Congaree and Penn, a farm to table restaurant in Jacksonville, was where we both felt that intimate connection with one another through our lengthy conversations on values, worldly opinions, hopes and dreams for this life. Exactly one year after our speed date, March 7, 2026, Clint proposed at Congaree and Penn while walking the farm at sunset. We are looking forward to sharing our special day with you next year!

Most convenient- the airport is located 35 minutes from the Jacksonville Beach area. We recommend Uber, Lyft, or a rental car if you plan on making it a trip to drive around our city! Jacksonville is the largest city by land mass in the continental United States- so there's plenty to see!
to MCO (Orlando International Airport)
This airport tends to have cheaper flights if you're coming from outside the Southeast part of the U.S.! However, it is a 2.5 hour drive to the Jacksonville Beach area. If you are using this airport to return home, be aware that this is a major airport with a large volume of flyers trying to go through TSA and catch their flight! Rental car/carpool with others to arrive to Jacksonville Beach area.
to SFB (Orlando Sanford International Airport)
This is a small airport that can offer competitive rates. This is a 2 hour drive from Jacksonville Beach. We recommend a rental car/carpool with others.

Beach ceremony in front of Refinery Jax Beach Restaurant: 831 1st St N, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250
Beach ceremony time to be confirmed closer to the date, will be late afternoon or early evening (4:30-5:30 pm estimated). Cocktail hour and reception to immediately follow the ceremony in the restaurant behind the ceremony location, which is a short walk. There is free public parking right by the beach front entrance and limited parking at the Refinery Jax Beach, up to 40 parking spots total for the restaurant (which remains open in other sections during our reception to other restaurant guests). Please carpool, use a drop off car services (uber or lyft), or walk if you can. The below links give you navigation to the location and paid parking options near our venue if you are unable to find free options.

Where do I even begin here??? Prerna and I met in December 2013. Prerna interviewed me for a graduate student research job to support her data collection process for her PhD in Pittsburgh, PA. I immediately appreciated how kind and funny she was-on top of the smartest person I've ever met. Sometimes you meet people in this life who you feel a natural connection to- and that is my relationship with Prerna. She's always been there for me-in the happy times and the sad times. She's who I can always count on to check me and tell me her honest opinions. She has contributed to so much of my personal and professional growth (we're both OTs!). Thank you, Prerna, for all the smiles, laughs, deep conversations, hugs, and tears we've shared together over the many years. I love you so much and cannot imagine this day without you.

Hannah is the first person in my life that I have ever felt an effortless connection to! We met in junior high soccer, in 2003. She immediately cracked me up, and I realized -I need this girl as a friend. She pulled me out of my quiet shell, and showed me how freeing it is to be your authentic self. I wouldn't have been able to get through high school (and life) without our friendship. I've never laughed so hard with anyone else in my life, nor have I had so many core memories with anyone else. Hannah is another person I could not imagine this day without. I cherish and love our friendship so deeply, where I feel I can always be my authentic self around her, knowing she will never judge me. She's another core friend that will always tell me her honest opinion, and I cherish her so much for that. She's always been there for me, supported me, and helped me grow. She's an amazing, strong person, and a wonderful mother. I love you so much and am so glad to have you here with me on this special day.

Jackie and I met in 2012 as bridesmaids for our friend Lauren. She seemed quiet at first, but a few lemon drops revealed her status as an absolute dance floor legend! Our friendship has always been effortless, and despite the distance between us all these years, she remains one of my closest confidants and favorite travel buddies. Even with the distance, I love our frequent long phone conversations- filled with stories to make each other laugh, deep conversations on personal growth, sharing our hopes and dreams. Jackie is one of the kindest, most loving people in the world. I love you, Jackie, and I'm so incredibly grateful to have you by my side for this day!
Courtney Eldridge

Courtney and I met back in 2017. Courtney was a home health physical therapist at the time, and I was onboarding as their occupational therapist. I did a ride along with Courtney for training, and immediately liked her funny and easygoing personality. After a few calls consulting our plans for mutual patients, I asked her if she wanted to grab a beer sometime, and our friendship blossomed. She's an amazing friend and has always been there- I am incredibly lucky to have her in my life. My favorite conversations with her include how we are going to solve all the problems of health care together (so watch out, world!). She is an amazing person, mother, and an great friend. I'm so lucky to have her in my life. I love you and am so thankful to have you here on this special day.

Bryce and I met working together at Lennox once Bryce moved from Texas. We became instant friends while working together, establishing a strong friendship and bond through shared experiences at work. We have become close over the years, enjoy doing pool days, barbeques, and beach days. Bryce has been a great friend that I can rely on and has been there for me through good moments and tough times. As a couple, we really enjoy spending time with Bryce, his wife Jessica, and their daughter, Roselynn. We are looking forward to their daughter being our flower girl!
Stephen Kersey

I met Stephen and his wife, Jennifer, a few years ago in Jacksonville. Stephen moved out of Jacksonville a few years ago, and we've maintained our friendship through our love for vacations. If we're not deep-sea fishing, diving for lobsters, or out on the boat, we're having a great time sharing laughs over a few card games, or enjoying all the Florida Keys have to offer. Stephen may hold the official title of Boat Captain, but he’d be lost at sea without his OG crew-his wife Jennifer, Tanner and his wife, Stephanie, Jeremiah and his girlfriend Juli, and us. They truly feel like family and our wedding day wouldn't be complete without them.

I met Tanner on the annual Keys trip. Tanner is such an easy going, funny, and great guy. He always makes us laugh at the right time, he's the guy you can always count on. Tanner and his wife, Stephanie, live near Orlando, where we've shared some great days at Disney together. Mechanically-minded, Tanner is the perfect crew mate for boat days-especially on days that it goes wrong- Tanner's there to save us. We are so thankful to have them here with us on our special day.

I met Jeremiah through the annual Keys trips. He and I have bonded over the long drives down to the Keys, I have always appreciated our conversations on things going on in the world and talking through our perspectives. Jeremiah is another great OG crew member you can always rely on. Jeremiah traded the hot southern summers for seasons up north, where he resides with his girlfriend, Juli. We always have a great time-whether it's playing cards, relaxing in the pool, or keeping our boat captain in check. We are so lucky to have them here on our special day.
